Designer and Scenic Painter - Freelance

Since graduating from the course in 2024, I have set out as a freelance designer and scenic painter, working on various projects that range from opera, children's immersive theatre, and theatre for cruise ships. Having been given the opportunity to design and build for the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire as a final-year student, and then being hired as a freelancer once I graduated, it has set me on a trajectory of gaining lots of experience in many different fields- as designer, builder, painter, producer, technician, all within only a year of graduating. 

 Most recently, I have been working as a scenic painter for set construction companies in the South of England, producing scenic art pieces for luxury cruise ships that travel across the Atlantic. The course really set me up for such a varied career that is always changing, and I am excited to find out what's in store for me next.
